In 2020 we launched our inaugural race; director Jed needed an outlet for his 40th year goal of running a marathon, and our events company had bandwidth given Covid19 had cancelled most of our annual events. With strong partnerships, and a small field, we dipped our toe into the race world, getting a grasp on logistics, key pieces, and the great energy of a race-day. In 2021 we grew our field to almost 400 racers per day. While we still were unable to host crowds, post-race celebrations or vendors, we still had a great race vibe. We look forward to growing the field in 2022, and being able to offer the pieces that we're experts in: pre & post party, events food, live music, and of course: BEER!
The course is paved, flat, and the colours along the Muskoka River in early October make for an ideal spot for a fun run or a personal best.

The Marathon de Granby was founded in 2007 by Stéphane Aubin and his family. Together, they created a unique large-scale event, thus allowing the city of Granby to shine throughout Quebec. The Marathon has been the pride of Granby residents for 12 years now and year after year, approximately 3,300 runners from the region and from all over the province come to live an unforgettable experience.
In 2017, Stéphane Aubin gradually passed the torch of the organization to the Courses Thématiques team, a non-profit organization that has been working in the field of running for more than five years and has values ??similar to his. Both Mr. Aubin and the Thematic Races team want to pay tribute to runners, promote healthy lifestyles, democratize running, ensure the next generation and highlight excellence.

Valley Harvest Marathon

The Valley Harvest Marathon is a signature event in the Valley during the Thanksgiving weekend, now in its 30th year. How natural to have a Harvest Marathon during Thanksgiving weekend in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia - heart of agriculture, apple capital, and winery centre of Atlantic Canada. Races start and finish at Acadia University in Wolfville.
With nearly 3,000 runners involved annually, the Valley Harvest Marathon offers a youth event, 5KM, 10KM, Half, Full and Ultra Marathons, so there is something for every participant. All routes explore the beautiful Valley area around Wolfville and Port Williams, and finish with a chance to network with fellow participants, shop shoes, rehydrate and get ready for your most-deserved Thanksgiving dinner yet!
The Valley Harvest Marathon is managed and owner by the Blue Nose Marathon, a registered non-profit in Nova Scotia.

The Ottawa Fall Colours Run has it all! New York and Boston Marathon Qualifiers; Beautiful Fall Colours in historic Cumberland Village, something for the whole family, including the 1K Turkey Trot.
Kids 12 and under can participate in the Turkey Trot, which is a 1K run around the grounds of the Cumberland Museum. Parents are welcome to tag along and help their little runners with the course. Strollers are welcome and you can opt to carry your child to the finish line if they need a helping hand. Regardless of whether you run, walk, crawl or roll to the finish line, everyone gets a finisher's medal and all the same perks as the adults.

We are excited to be planning for an in-person 2022 Royal Victoria Marathon. While we are still living in a pandemic world, we are fully anticipating being able to hold a live event with a marathon, half marathon, and 8K for everyone. We will announce plans for our Kids Run in the spring.
Registration is open for our marathon, half marathon and 8K. Registration is selling quickly so register today!
We will be following guidelines established by the Provincial Health Orders at the time of the race as well as Athletics Canada. Flexibility is key in our pandemic world!
