Yukon River Trail Marathon
Whitehorse, Yukon
Every year the runners receive a take home souvenir of the race - usually a garment with a retail value of about $50.00. Those who run the marathon and half-marathon races will also receive a medallion with the Yukon River Trail Marathon logo. In addition to beautiful scenery and challenging terrain, you will encounter aid stations with water, sports drink and food (and lots of friendly volunteers) at the end of each leg (that is, at km 9.6, 19.6, 30.5) as well as at the start/finish of the race. There are also water stations at intermediary points between checkpoints.

Marathon by the Sea
Saint John, New Brunswick
Fun and festive is the best way to describe Marathon By The Sea. The race course is peppered with a wide variety of local entertainers. Competition for best water stop is fierce, pitting one community group against the other and usually involves some very creative costumes and music. Runners can keep pace with the rhythmic sounds of drummers, celebrate all things Scottish with the sound of bagpipes. The pre-race sounds of rock and dance music are sure to rev up your race. Don?t miss festivities at the half and full marathon turn around points. Enjoy post-race festivities that include great food, entertainment and our awards ceremony. The best of Saint John turn out to celebrate what?s best about Saint John, family and fitness. Something you won?t soon forget!
