Get ready for some beautiful views and an intense challenge! The South Coast Marathon begins in the small town of Port Rowan, Ontario, and follows a small road along the shore of Lake Erie, providing some beautiful views of the early-morning lake along your right, with the pristine rural countryside to your left. This road features three challenging hills to overcome as it takes you through Turkey Point Provincial Park, a lush and bio-diverse nature reserve, before turning up beautiful country back roads and spending the second-half on an easy incline to the finish line in downtown Simcoe, Ontario.

All departures will be behind the Town Hall in Carleton-sur-mer at the Germain Deslauriers Park. The runners will start first at the lighthouse and then continue to Nouvelle returning directly to the starting point.

The 24th running of the Niagara Ultra Races. 100km, 50 km, Marathon, Half Marathon or 10km foot race (on traffic-free asphalt footpath) following the Niagara River Parkway from Niagara-on-the-Lake past Fort George and on to Niagara Falls and back. In continuous sight of the Great River and turning around at the Falls, this fast course offers you the opportunity to run on a very scenic course steeped in Canadian and American history. This is event #6 in the 2016 Ontario Ultra Series (OUS).

The world's first kilted full marathon, follows the world's largest kilt race the previous day! The race starts on the Rideau Ferry Bridge over the UNESCO world heritage Rideau Lake / Canal, and continues 10K on closed roads to the historic Perth, Ontario. Through Last Duel Park (site of last fatal duel in Canada), along the Tay River Tow Path, and past the Town Hall Clock in celebration of the town's 200th anniversary. Leaving the Town you find yourself making a short tour of Perth Golf Course (Oldest in Canada), and exiting hole #3 over the Tay River...heading into Tay Township to tour past several historic mills on the way to the grand finish at the door of a refurbished 1816 barn!

Run through the Canada ? USA border with some of the world?s biggest tides in one of North America?s quietest but most scenic corners. We are a not-for-profit event organized jointly by the communities of Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada and Lubec, Maine, USA on the shores of the magnificent Bay of Fundy. Courses are certified in both Canada and the USA, races are chip timed, and the marathon is a Boston Qualifier. All races are capped at 350 runners each. Awards and medals are handcrafted by local artists.
